I wish that there was a way to shatter all those broken pieces of glass.Grind them down to powder. Make pigment out of them.Paint a new world, instead of viewing the grime of this one through the bright transparency of my fears.
There's so much potential, so much to be and see and hear and do. It's exhausting living up to my own expectations. As much as I tell myself that it's all okay and the world will keep spinning, that the worry is useless. That doesn't stop it from building up.
It doesn't stop.
Everyone will be what they're meant to be, when the time is right. Sometimes we don't know the answers.
The great thing about actors is that they don't have their own lines. They're like those intricate toy monkeys dressed in embroidered waistcoats with conical hats. You wind them up and away they go, marching about, causing a right raucous with those tiny brass cymbals. They hide behind the clanging. A convenience is that it provides the spectators with a nook to creep into, slip right into the noise and know that nobody will notice.
"Obviously there's something very seductive about movies, which can be attractive in a bad way if you're doing them for the wrong reasons - for money, or for fame. I hope I won't ever do that. I don't feel at home in LA, I feel like I'm on holiday. It's nice to dip your feet in occasionally, but I think it's probably quite unhealthy to spend too much time there at once." -Andrew Garfield

All in all, I look forward to seeing more films with him in them.
"So you're born in the capital of the world and you can never escape. And that's how it is because that's how everyone wants it to be. It is all about want. No one needs anything here. It is about when you wake up in the morning and the snow is already coming down and it's bright between the buildings where the sun falls but already dark where the shadows are. And it's all about the want. What do you want? Because if you don't want something you've got nothing. You are adrift. You're washed away and then buried under the snow in shadow. And when in the spring the snow melts, no one will remember where you were frozen and buried. And you will no longer be anywhere."
